League of Legends
League of Legends is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) video game developed and published by Riot Games. Released in 2009, it involves two teams of five players each competing to destroy the opposing team’s Nexus, a structure located within their base. Players control characters known as “champions,” each with unique abilities and roles, such as tanks, damage dealers, and support characters. The game is played on a map called Summoner’s Rift, which features three lanes and a jungle area filled with neutral monsters and objectives. Strategy, teamwork, and individual skill are essential for success in matches, which typically last between 20 to 50 minutes. League of Legends also has a vibrant esports scene, with professional leagues and tournaments held worldwide.
