Football
Football is a team sport played between two teams of eleven players each, primarily using a spherical ball. The objective of the game is to score goals by getting the ball into the opposing team’s net. It is played on a rectangular field known as a pitch, with goal posts at each end. The game is governed by a set of rules known as the Laws of the Game, maintained by the International Football Association Board (IFAB).

The sport is widely regarded as the world’s most popular sport, with millions of players and fans around the globe. Competitions range from local leagues to international tournaments, including the FIFA World Cup, which is held every four years and features teams from various countries competing for the championship.
